WiTalk9 X Q&A

Q1
What are the broadcast or PTT features?

Master One-click Broadcast: Allows the master to mute all connected remotes and issue direct commands in case of an emergency.
Remote One-click PTT: Enables remotes to communicate privately without picking up unwanted sound.
Note: When using this feature, both master and remote are muted, which can be turned off manually.

Q2
What's the difference between the included detachable ear cushions?
On-ear Foam Cushions: Ventilated and comfortable for long-term wear in hot conditions.
Over-ear Cushions: Provide excellent isolation for clear communication in noisy environments.
Q3
How can I use an external earpiece?

You can connect a small earpiece using the included 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter for a lighter, more breathable wearing experience—especially useful in hot environments.

Q4
How do I identify which headset I’m using?

If you're unsure which headset is assigned to you, press and hold the [mute] and [power] buttons simultaneously. The corresponding number indicator on the Base will flash, helping you identify your unit.

Q5
Do different SKUs cover different headset configurations?

Currently, WiTalk9 X is offered in separate configurations (single-ear, dual-ear, or helmet-ready). If your team needs multiple wearing styles, you can customize the setup with interchangeable parts.

Q6
How does A/B grouping work on the headset?

A/B grouping is available only when the headset is connected to the WiTalk BASE.
Groups must be configured in advance via the web interface, and cannot be switched independently on the headset without the Base.

Q7
How to pair the remote with master headset?

Headsets in the same kit are pre-paired at the factory. Power them on, and they will connect automatically.
To pair a new headset:
1. Make sure both headsets are powered off.
2. Press and hold the master headset [power] button for about 5 seconds, ultil blue indicator light flash rapidly.
3. Do the same to the remote headset.
When the remote changes from fast blinking blue to slow blinking blue, pairing is complete.

Q8
How to check the headset battery level?

You can check battery levels via the Saramonic app. The power indicator stays blue when the battery is above 10%. If it drops to 10% or less, the indicator flashes red, and you'll hear a "battery level low" alert every 10 minutes.

Q9
How many pcs batteries for one headset in standard package?

Each headset comes with two batteries, so you can swap them easily and keep working without interruption.
