The standout innovation of the WiTalk9 X is its industry-first fully modular headset design. Operating in the 1.9GHz DECT band with horizontal/vertical dual-antenna diversity technology, it effectively avoids common 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference, delivering a transmission range of up to 400 meters. A single system supports 9-person full-duplex communication; when paired with the WiTalk Base, it expands to 16 users and can cascade up to 64 users. It also offers 8 independent talk groups for flexible role-based allocation (director, camera, lighting, sound, etc.), with a dedicated leader channel ensuring priority for critical instructions. Users can switch groups instantly via the A/B button and receive voice prompts.
The WiTalk Base serves as the “brain” and expansion center of the system, purpose-built for large-scale productions. A single base station supports 16 full-duplex headsets. Using RJ45 cascading (CAT5e/CAT6 cables) or fiber media converters, the communication range can be extended to 700 meters. Headsets automatically roam to the strongest signal base station when team members move between areas, ensuring seamless, drop-free connectivity.
