How many transmitters and receivers can Air SE connect to at once?

Air SE supports up to 2 transmitters connected to 1 receiver simultaneously.

Does the receiver need its own power supply?

The receiver is powered directly by the connected device (such as a smartphone), so no separate charging is required.

Does Air SE support phone speaker playback?

Yes.

Can I use the furry windshield when using it as a handheld mic?

Yes. However, the transmitter cannot charge with the windscreen attached.

What’s the advantage of AI noise cancellation compared to traditional ENC? Can I adjust the noise cancellation level on the receiver?

AI noise cancellation is much better at removing non-steady background noises like keyboard typing or running water, while keeping voices natural and clear. Traditional ENC mainly targets low-frequency and steady noise such as wind or air conditioners and can slightly affect vocal clarity.

On the Air SE, noise cancellation levels can be adjusted directly on the receiver.

What are the output modes of the Air SE?

Saramonic Air SE supports three output modes: Mono, Stereo, and Safety Track.
M (Mono): Audio from two transmitters is combined into a single output track.
S (Stereo): Audio from two transmitters is recorded to separate output channels.
Ms (Safety Track): A secondary audio track is recorded at -12 dB as a backup to prevent distortion from unexpected loud sounds.
* Post-production separation is required to use the safety track.
* Safety Track can only be enabled in Mono mode.
* Stereo recording requires the connected device to support stereo input.

What devices is Saramonic Air SE compatible with?

It can be used with smartphones (USB-C or Lightning), computers, and mainstream action cameras, including DJI Pocket 3, Osmo Action 3/4/5 Pro/6, Osmo 360, and Insta360 X4 Air, X5, Ace Pro 2, GO Ultra.
